EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF GEOLOGISTS (EFG) MEMBERSHIP

Our Association has started working on being a member of the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) in 2016 and the criteria to be a member that are requested by EFG are fulfilled. The application works were completed in April and EFG invited our Association to the Council Meeting held on 21-22 May 2016 in Lisbon. On behalf of our Association, Mesut Soylu and İbrahim Güney attended the meeting on 21st of May as observers, and they made a presentation which introduces our Association on 22nd of May. With a voting following the presentation, our Association was accepted to the EFG membership. It is our pleasure to announce to our valuable members the acceptance of our Association to the EFG membership which was one of the long term targets of our Association.
